INTRODUCTION

The Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja and the Fischler School of Education and Human Sciences of Nova Southeastern University (FSEHS-NSU) of the United States are offering a dual Master program for those wishing to attain a high level of technical and practical knowledge in the teaching of English as a Foreing Language.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

UTPL

• - A copy of your undergraduate degree certificate.
• - A copy of your CONESUP degree registration certificate.
• - Your original Academic Record in Spanish and English, certified by the university where the degree was obtained.
• - Registration and application forms
• - Two recent Id photographs.
• - A minimun scores of 550/213/80 in TOEFL or 6.0 in IETS*.
• - A copy of your Id card.
• - A copy of voter registration certificate.
• - A receipt for the payment of registration fees.

Note: Resident foreing students must meet the relevant requirements of the postgraduate program.

NSU-FSEHS

• - A completed Application Form
• - An essay (according to scheme)
• - A Curriculum Vitae (according to scheme)
• - Score of 550/213/80 in the TOEFL or 6.0 in IELTS*.
• - Official Bachelor’s Degree Certificate.
• - Official English translation of the Bachelor’s Degree Certificate.
• - Official Bachelor’s Degree Transcript.
• - Official English translation of Transcript.
• - Official Evaluation of University Degree (carried out by FSEHS-NSU)

* Conditional Admission

Students whose TOEFL score is between 450 and 550; 180 and 213; or 70 and 80 and whose IELTS is between 5.0 and 6.0 will be admitted to the program on a conditional basis.

In this case the candidate must obtain a grade point average of 3.0, or 75% for all modules taken in the first term and obtain the required score in TOEFL or IETS no later than the end of the first term.

NOTE: All documents and payments must be submitted to your coordinator at UTPL in Ecuador, where they will be processed and sent to Fischler School of Education and Human Services. The translation of the documents will be carried out at UTPL. Degree evaluations will be processed at FSEHS-NSU.
