ENGLISH NEW GENERATION

LaboratorioENG

PRESENTATION

English New Generation (ENG) is a flexible and innovative way to learn English in five levels. Students receive the software that enables them to develop an autonomous learning process. Students are responsible for learning grammar and vocabulary through the development of activities that allow them to continuously improve receptive skills like listening and reading; speaking and writing activities are also included in the multimedia. In the fifth level, which takes five months, students improve their productive skills through intensive practice in class.

REMEMBER

  • - Registration for ENG 1, ENG 2, ENG 3, and ENG 4 is possible in the secretary’s office in your school. During these months, you can register in the May-October 2008 group whenever you decide and until the day before the final evaluation which is in August.
  • - Students who belong to the April-August period and have successfully taken the Final Evaluation and passed the level can immediately register for the next level in the group May-October.
  • - Students who are registered in the April-August period and haven’t passed the level will present Make-Up Assignments since July 1st until July 28th according to specific dates for each level and module. You will receive more details through your UTPL mail. Make-Up Evaluation will start on August 11th.
  • - New students coming to UTPL for the first time are welcome to English New Generation. In fact, you have the opportunity to show your English knowledge through a Placement Evaluation which is free and optional for you; after this exam, you will register in the corresponding level depending on the results you get.  However, if you, as a new student, decide you won’t take the Placement Evaluation, you will necessarily have to register in the INTRO level.
