About
The Research, Technology Transfer and Extension Centers (CITTE for its Spanish Acronym) are true incubators of research, where teachers and students work on real projects.
The CITTE are equivalents to what in many universities are called departments, laboratories, institutes, etc. Generally, they involve professors from various departments and are organized around a topic or area of knowledge about which the research is carried out.
In line with our environment, the research is purely applied in the CITTE, trying to make possible the transfer of science and technology to society through outreach activities and services.
In the UTPL, the CITTE are divided into four areas: Technical, Administrative, SocioHumanistic and Biological.
