EL PROYECTO FODEPAL. UNA EXPERIENCIA EN LA EDUCACIÓN “EN LÍNEA” (E-LEARNING) PARA GESTORES DE POLÍTICAS EN LATINOAMÉRICA (ASPECTOS CLAVES PARA EL ÉXITO DE UN PROGRAMA DE E-LEARNING)

RESUMEN
FODEPAL, es un Proyecto Regional para la capacitación de Gestores de América Latina y el Caribe, ejecutado por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación (FAO), con financiación de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional (AECI), que desde el año 2001 desarrolla sus actividades de capacitación, mayoritariamente a través de Cursos “en línea”.
FODEPAL cuenta con el respaldo académico de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) y de otras prestigiosas 30 Instituciones académicas de América Latina.
El objetivo general del proyecto es contribuir al desarrollo rural sostenible de América Latina mediante la mejora de las capacidades en la Región para el análisis, formulación y seguimiento de políticas y programas que favorezcan dicho desarrollo.
Con la experiencia adquirida durante estos años y el aporte de expertos internacionales, FODEPAL ha desarrollado un modelo de e-learning propio y diferenciado, en sus aspectos pedagógicos, tecnológicos, administrativos y operativos.

ABSTRACT
FODEPAL, is a Regional Project for the training of policy makers of Latin America and the Caribbean, executed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and funded by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECI), has developed its training activities mostly through “on line” Courses, since the year 2001.
FODEPAL relies on the academic support of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and other 30 high level and prestigious academic Institutions of Latin America.
FODEPAL aims to contribute to the rural sustainable development of Latin America, fostering the improvement of regional capabilities in the analysis, formulation and follow-up of policies, plans and coherent programs that favor such a development.
With the experience acquired during these years and the contribution of international experts, FODEPAL has developed a unique e-learning model, differentiated in its pedagogical, technological, administrative and operative aspects.
